All-natural, Oil-Based Skin Care Solutions

by Valerie DeVette

If you are getting to the age when you should begin to consider wrinkle prevention tactics, you may want to seek advice about ancient and modern remedies. Dry and aging skin, wrinkles and age spots, are skin issues that have always affected mankind. In particular, natural oils made from animal byproducts, rose hips and olives have long since been used as natural skin care remedies that provide solutions to skin aging problems.

For over a thousand year, the Aborigine peoples of Australia have been using Emu Oil as a natural skin care treatment and pain reliever for bone, muscle and joint disorders. Although its healing properties are diverse, it has been specifically acclaimed as a treatment for Arthritis and its ability to reduce itching and swelling caused by insect bites and stings, reducing burns, wounds, bruises, and as a pain reliever.

In the modern day and age, Emu Oil has been marketed as a treatment for fine lines and wrinkles due to its moisturizing effects. Emu Oil is derived from the fatty skin of the emu bird, making it a non-vegetarian product.

Rose Hip Oil as a Natural Skin Care Solution

Rose Hip Oil comes from the seed of a wild rose plant that grows in the rainier parts of deep South America. Unlike Emu Oil, Rose Hip Oil is fortunately free of animal byproducts and is therefore vegetarian-safe.

An organic and sensitive-skin tested natural skin treatment, Rose Hip Oil has been proven to reduce acne, scars, wrinkles and dry-skin related problems. Often highlighted as an acne scar treatment, Rose Hip Oil has been acclaimed for its ability to reduce even the most stubborn old scars.

Just as with Emu Oil, Rose Hip Oil has been recognized as a natural skin care product by Indigenous civilizations for over a thousand years, in this case by the Incas and other native peoples of America. Interestingly, it also consists of mostly essential fatty acids, making its nutritional benefits extend beyond the surface area. Drier, aging skin will especially benefit from the anti wrinkles properties contained in this natural skin care product.

Olive Oil has also recently been on the market as a prime component in natural skin care goods. Its high vitamin E content makes it a great natural moisturizer and overall skin care product. Other potential benefits of Olive Oil beauty products include: the treatment of wrinkles, minor skin wounds, eczema and psoriasis.

These oils all have similar properties, like fatty essential oil content, and each of them offers protection from harmful free radicals. Rose Hip Oil, however, stands out as the most effective natural moisturizer of them all, due to the unique healing qualities of the rose hip seed oil.
